((OOC: I'm going to throw this into the future a little bit))
Vithali kept herself under Crispin's wing the entire journey. Several days were behind them now and she had not seen hide nor hair of his . . . brothers. She had asked him a lot of questions during the journey, as she often did with strangers and soon found herself very comfortable in his company. She started to think that she had found a friend she couldn't leave, perhaps they would find a pack together, but he explained to her about the place he was headed to and was disheartened to hear that was his home and she would not be allowed to stay. She couldn't help but feel so attached to him.
When they came in sight of a lake she dashed ahead. Her trauma from her encounter with those . . . things . . . Heus, Crispin called them. He was a Sasriel. She had never heard of either, but she had come to her own conclusions that his kind were far more beautiful.
She plunged into the lake, drinking the cool water as she waded in, the water reaching her belly. She lapped it up swiftly and then brightly jumped out, trotting back up to Crispin. She wagged her tail and pressed her head up against his chest, nuzzling the underside of his chin.
"When do you have to go back?" she whispered.

There was no doubt of the concern Crispin had for his brothers . . . he wondered if they had gone off to Sun Crest or if they were waiting for him elsewhere. He gazed up at the sky, worried and yet, at the same time, content to have this small female with him. Her personality seemed to match her name; unique and very . . . energetic. After he had calmed her, questions popped from her seemingly endless but he strangely didn't mind. He liked it. She was . . . cute. At times, she was seemingly still a puppy; playful and bounding. While at others, she was more thoughtful and he could see that she had indeed grown up.
He smiled quietly as she bounded ahead to the lake and he sniffed the air. He swallowed distractedly as he caught her scent but tried to focus on the forest around him. There was no mistaking it . . .
"River Wood." he stated.
But there were no other wolves here. It was odd and sad at the same time; he remembered the jovial nature of the River Wood pack; always up for a game and a greeting. It was as though their voices still haunted these woods, their energy still danced around. Vithali would have fit in well here . . . speaking of which -
He glanced down at her and grinned as she pressed up again him. He took her scent deeply and rested his chin ontop of her head, nuzzling the fly away fur behind her ears. He wondered where she belonged, what pack she belonged too, why she had been wandering around Blood Fang.
"When do you have to go back?"
His heart went out to her instantly. She didn't want him to leave . . . and personally, he didn't want to leave her. But his brothers were his family, and he vowed that he would never be far from them again. But now it felt as though his heart would split in two. He pulled back from her slightly, looking her in the eye.
"Soon. But I'm going to make sure you're safe first, alright? I promise you that."
He sighed as the darkness descended upon them and he kept his wing protectively around her; a habit he had picked up ever since he felt her trembling against him in Blood Fang.
"Come," he sighed, his voice raspy. "We should probably keep moving. Perhaps Amber Moor has regrouped. If not . . . hopefully you can stay in the Mountain with us for sometime."
He wouldn't mind that, actually. Having Vithali around was fresh and new to him. She made him laugh at her antics and her silly prhases and questions. The way her fur bounced around her ears made him feel dumbstruck but her graceful strades when she ran made his legs turn to mud. She truly was a beautiful fae for all it was worth.

She sighed at his answer to her question.
“Do you have to?”
She already knew the answer though, but it didn’t keep her from jutting out her lip and bringing out her puppy-eyes. Her large ears flipped back and she gave her most pathetic face. She couldn’t help but smile as his wing came around her though and she pressed close to him, licking his cheek. She giggled and buried her face into his fur, taking in his own unique scent, completely unaware of the affect spring had had on her.
She sighed though, when he mentioned that they keep moving. It was growing dark and she wasn’t one much for darkness.
“Well,” she began. “This loner I met said something about a pack reforming in the North . . . East I think. Maybe we should go to the Mountain first!”
She wondered if the prompt would work and then felt a surge of giddiness overtake her limbs. She bounded away from him again, nipping playfully at his ear before landing farther away, slapping the ground playfully with her paws, her tail whipping the air in excitement. Her eyes flashed with vigor as she turned and dashed away, urging him to chase her. Her laughter rang through the trees, her energy reaching its peak. She liked feeling happy and there was no doubt that she could feel that way around him.
She stopped, looking back to see if he was coming, ears pricked, eyes sparkling . . .

Crispin shook his head at the pathetic look Vithali bore, nuzzling her.
“It’ll be okay.” He promised.
The nuzzle shocked him for a second and he stayed where he was. He gazed down at her. What was happening to him? He was getting too attached . . . He knew he’d he have to leave her. But part of him felt that maybe, he wouldn’t have to completely. Crispin perked his ears as she spoke about a pack in the North East . . . that had to be Amber Moor! They were known to be a level headed pack, assuming a good Alpha was head of it. He wanted to see first though, ask questions. He felt protective over her . . . he sighed.
Darn it, Crispin, you’ve fallen for her . . .
He jumped as she leapt away from him and laughed as she suddenly began to entice him to play. Her eyes sparkled in the dimming light and she looked like a pup again. With a silly grin, he leapt after her, extending his wings so that he circled unknowingly to her other side should she try to run. He leapt towards her small shoulders, trying to pin her down. She was small, but quick to he remembered.
“Think you can escape me, do you?” he joked, nipping playfully back at her.

Vithali giggled as he pinned her down, falling down willingly. She could have easily outrun his maneuvers but part of her didn’t want to. She nipped playfully at his nose and relaxed on the thick grass smiling coyly. She gazed up into his eyes, placing a paw against his chest. She felt his heart beat reverberate through her limb and sighed softly. Something was happening here, in this quiet moment, that she was uncertain of. It quieted her mind, calmed her body, made her . . . shy. She leaned forward, putting her muzzle close to Crispin’s ear.
“I know I could . . .” she said softly. “If I wanted to.”
With a quick twist, she escaped him and then slowly walked back to him. Something was messing with her senses . . . she couldn’t even smell straight. Vithali slanted her eyes slyly, brushing the back of her head underneath his, pressing her back up against his chin, slowly walking away from him again. She arched her neck, stopping at one point, to look over her shoulder. The way she moved suggested he might follow her. With an excited yip, she took off at a trot.
She was beginning to think she liked Crispin more . . . a lot more, than perhaps any other wolf she had ever met. It scared her some, but right now she seemed completely at ease with him. Part of her hoped he would follow as she made her way into the trees, heart racing, eyes sparkling with a new and different kind of energy. She wanted this night to belong to them. It was so beautiful, peaceful . . .
As though she had stepped into her own, private sanctuary.

Crispin was surprised when she landed on the ground. He honestly had expected her to wriggle free and jump off like she usually did. Her smile made him laugh again, dumbly, and he stepped back. Something in the back of his mind told that it was too late to back out of this now. He was in something far too deep here he feared, and there would be no going back. He jerked back when she bit his nose, a smile cracking his face. He pawed back at her, backing off when she leaped out from under his pin.
“You little vixen . . .” he chortled.
But she was silent, and her eyes held something different in them, something very out of character of her. She was quiet, filled with a different energy that had not possessed her before. He let her approach him, slowly, he closed his eyes as she pressed her head up under his chin, her back next . . . he opened his eyes when she was no longer there and looked to see her trotting away. A silly grin possessed him and he hesitantly took a few steps toward her. Once, he scanned the skies and took a deep breath. He needed to find his brothers . . . he want so badly to know where they were . . . but he looked towards Vithali once more and felt certain only good things would come ahead for him. The way she looked at him was an invitation to follow. He took one more deep breath, swallowed hard and trotted after her. Not sure where this would lead.
Oh Crispin . . .what have you gotten yourself into?
