Character: Soliel (pron. Soul – lay; French for “Sun”)
Age: 3 years young!
Species: Sasriel
Gender: Male
Physical Description: Soleil is a tall fellow, reaching an even 4 feet at the shoulder. He is built strong and has the appearance of a worthy fighter. His pelt is thick and pure white, save for a light splash of gray on his head that splays out into what his mother assumed looked like a sun. From his “sun spot” the gray ticks back over his neck and shoulders, with some small splashes on his broad wings. His eyes are a very light gray, almost always calm or bright with excitement.
Soliel also has numerous scars along his body, revealed when the wind blows his long fur from his body. He has one large noticeable scar on his right wing that was caught by the deadly fang of a Heus and several more around his neck where teeth and claws once tried to kill him. Otherwise he is very fit and is a very strong, normal, Sasriel.
Personality: Soleil, being the youngest, is quite the dare devil, often diving deep into random situations without thinking things through (which often caused his mother heart attacks when he was younger.) He also likes to provoke, and mostly he likes to provoke the Heus and get them as agitated as he can. Some may call this young Sasriel a little too proud for his own good, but really he is just reckless. He acts fearless in any situation and constantly feels the need to out-do his other two brothers.
In a pack, Soliel shapes up nicely. He obeys orders with a quiet nod and is fierce when it comes to down and dirty fight. He is very loyal to his family and his pack, willing to put himself in any situation to save them from harm. His one weakness is that of the female species; he never got over his nervousness around them and still ends up making a fool of himself around them.
Pack: Sun Crest
Rank: Fleet
Other: Soleil, after witnessing the death of his other brothers and his mother, silently took it upon himself to protect his family, or what is left of it. His greatest fear is losing another brother, which could explain why he so willingly puts himself in harms way. Though he doesn’t express these emotions, he hides them and hopes they are not to obvious.
History: Soliel was born to a rowdy pack of six brothers, whom his poor sleep deprived mother sought out to tame, making them gentlemen. Being the last born, Soleil was picked on the most (or so he felt) and so from an early age reacted on impulse whenever his brothers were involved, shaping up when his mother and elders were around.
Ever since he was young, he longed to join the battles, wanting to prove his strength and hard work. The lust to fight was always clear in his eyes from the first day he got put into the battles, though he knew it broke his mother’s heart to see her sons out in the fray. But the fight invigorated him. Things looked good his first battle; the Heus were good fighters but easy enough targets if you got the right altitude and angle. He enjoyed the rush and the thrill, returning home to praise and the playful, worthwhile tussles with his brothers.
But things got worse.
Slowly, members of his pack weren’t able to keep the Heus back, others were killed and others even turned on their own. His mother seemed to be wasting away as she watched her own young die in the bloody battle of the Heus. Anger flared through Soliel, and he began to fight harsher than ever, rushing in without orders, taking actions that were careless and impulsive, just to prove that he wasn’t joking around. When he learned that his mother had thrown herself into the fray, his whole world shifted. Finally, the Sun Crest pack seemed to die as Shadow Season descended upon them. When his two remaining brothers decided to leave, his heart broke but he wasn’t about to be left behind.
So he went away with them, ashamed that his pack was gone. They weren’t the only ones though; so many others were leaving.
But now he isn’t sure he wants to return, to face the memories and the death. Yet he can’t leave his brothers, his mother’s gentlemen.
((Chic; if there is something that is off in the history, let me know!))
