For when that "spring fever" hits and you want newborn pups in the pack . . .
1) If you wish to have pups with another character's wolf, you will first need to fill out a form and get staff approval. We will decide the number of pups there are, the genders, and what they look like as well as the due date. Whether or not you get permission from the Alpha is your own problem . . . Unless you are the Alpha of course!
2) Do not post graphic breeding. It is not needed. Give a hint to what the intention is and then create a new thread or post for like a week or day after . . .
3) A note to loners that breed; remember that your pups will have less luck surviving.
4) If you join with a pup (no younger than 6 weeks) remember that you have less chance of surviving to, and should probably join up with a trust worthy adult fast . . .
5) Newborn pups will remain player-less until they are three weeks old and even then they just explore the den and get to know baby-sitters. 4-5 weeks, they will start to move out of the den and eat small amounts of pre-chewed meat. 6-8 weeks, pups are weaned and will travel with other adults. 12 weeks, they are able to travel with the pack and at 7 or 8 months they should be able to hunt and travel freely with the pack.
6) Remember that wolf pups are very susceptible to disease and the elements.
7) You will have to put pups born into a pack up for "adoption" so that other members can play them. They become available when they are three weeks old, though you can find willing players before then.
