If you haven't noticed, seasons play a big role in the RP, mainly because Heus wolves are not as active in the colder months and are usually plotting and scheming for next year . . . Wolves also refer to seasons and not individual months (unless your talking about pups.)
Spring: Known as "Burgeon" season to the wolves. This is the time when things are budding out, pups are being born, and life seems fresh and hopeful. Likewise, it is when the Heus start cautiously stepping out from their homes again, avoiding late snow storms and spring showers, and making everyone tense and on their toes again. This season will last a total of 9 real life weeks. Early Burgeon (three weeks) Mid Burgeon (three weeks) and Late Burgeon (three weeks.)
Summer: Known as "War" season to the wolves. This is usually the peak when the Heus wolves strike the hardest and when the largest battle rage. Most die in this seasons, especially the very young and old. The Outland wolves will sometimes make a little of their presence known, disturbed by the corruption and bloodshed taking place outside their borders. This season will last a total of 9 real life weeks. Early War (three weeks) Mid War (three weeks) and Late War (three weeks.)
Autumn: Known as "Scarlet" season to the wolves. The Heus have done their worst by now and with the colder winds starting to come in, the Heus are starting to plan how to end their battles. Bloodshed has been great and plenty by this time of year and burials are taking place. Toward the end of this season, packs are coming back together and the Outland wolves seem to disappear all together. Sun Crest is usually over loaded with injured and dieing by this time and sending many back to their packs or to the loner lands. This season will last a total of 7 real life weeks. Early Scarlet (two weeks) Mid Scarlet (three weeks) and Late Scarlet (two weeks.)
Winter: Known as "Shadow" season to the wolves. The Heus have returned to their lands to wait out the harsh winter. Packs recuperate and forgiveness is either granted or certain members are shunned. All reflect on what happened and bond together to strengthen themselves for next years happenings. This is the time of growth and renewal, of death and rebirth, and of mourning and celebration. This season will last a total of 7 real life weeks. Early Shadow (2 weeks) Mid Shadow (3 weeks) and Late Shadow (2 weeks.)
